Alfa Romeo Logo History

The emblem combines the red cross and the Visconti 'biscione' serpent associated with Milanese heraldry and has been used by the Alfa Romeo marque (originally A.L.F.A.) since the company's founding in Milan in the early 20th century. The circular badge and wordmark have been modernized several times but retain these historic elements.
