About Excel Logo
The image features a rectangular shape set on a slight perspective angle with the right side slightly smaller than the left, creating a three-dimensional effect. The main color of the rectangle is a dark green, and it has a white letter "X" on the left side. Adjacent to the "X" and occupying the right side of the rectangle, there are four horizontal white lines that represent a simplified grid or column structure, reminiscent of a spreadsheet. Excel Logo Information and History
Until recently, the Excel logo has been written in a bold sans-serif font, and was written with a white "X." Its font was most likely the same as the one used by Microsoft. However, it was greener in various shades, making it more similar to the turquoise color scheme that Microsoft uses for the rest of its corporate branding. In 2013, Microsoft changed its logo to a deeper forest green, and it is now more similar to the color scheme used by the software giant.
To add your Excel logo to your workbook, you first need to launch the application. In the Insert tab, click the Picture icon. Then, browse for your logo file, double-click it, and move it into the cell. If necessary, resize it if it is too large, and adjust the alignment if necessary. This way, you can add multiple graphics on one sheet. You may also want to add your logo to the header cell of each column.
You can also find a transparent version of the Excel logo on the Internet. These files are available in a variety of sizes and colors, and you can download them for free. Just remember to accept the terms of use before downloading. It is also possible to use the logo for other purposes, such as on social networks. It is possible to create a PNG or a raster image from a Microsoft Excel logo. You can also download Excel's vector logo.
Basic Colors
We've taken a look at the image and pulled out some colors that are common across lots of logos. The colors below aren't the exact colors found in the image, but approximations to common colors.
Advanced Colors
We've extracted the below 'advanced colors' from the logo. These should be much closer to the actual colors found in the logo. Our extractor tries to only take the main colors of the image and tries to ignore shading on anti-aliasing or shadows. This generally leads to better results, but in some circumstances you might find a few unusual colors being pulled from the logo.
Hex Colors
The below are the hex colors that are found in the logo. You can assume that these are the actual colors used in the logo. Our color extraction tool that takes the colors from the logo tries to ignore anti-aliasing and shadows, so you may sometimes find a slightly odd result, but this is rare. These colors should be very similar to the Advanced Colors, but you'll notice subtle differences. If you're interested in the exact color then use the hex, but if you're trying to describe the logo then use the Advanced Color or the Basic Color above.
