About Hewlett Packard Logo
The logo features a blue rectangle with rounded corners, inside of which is a white circle that is slightly cut off by the rectangle's edge. Overlapping both the blue rectangle and white circle is the lowercase letters 'hp', stylized with the 'h' and 'p' connected at the top. The letters are in a bold, italicized font with serifs, and their color is a gradient of white and a very light gray, giving a slight three-dimensional metallic look. The 'h' has a horizontal line bridging the two vertical elements. There is a shadow effect to the left and below the 'hp' letters, giving the impression that the 'hp' symbol is floating above the blue background. The overall design gives a sleek, modern impression.

Hewlett Packard Logo Information and History
Earlier this century, HP launched a computer line in America and was known as HP. This company is still very popular today. Although the HP logo no longer includes the full name, it is still used on ink carts, packaging, and used computers. The company prides itself on its service and customer support. In this article, you'll learn how to spot a ripoff of the HP logo and why you should avoid it.
The original Hewlett Packard logo consisted of two letters, the first two spelled out, that were enclosed in a circle. The extended letters were placed at the top and bottom of the circle and protruded outward. However, the logo was simplified in 1974 and the extended letters were dropped from the circle. The new logo includes the "hp" written in a black sans-serif font on a white background. The lettering is arranged in a circle, with a leg on the "h" directed up and a p down. This logo is the most common of all the company's logos, as it fits well with the brand's focus on ideas and innovation.
The original HP logo was created in 1948, but in 1998, the company decided to refresh it with a new color and monogram. Its new logo was debuted at HP's HP Discover event, and it was used on new products and commercials until 2014. The new logo was also used on the HP Enterprise division of the company until the company broke apart into two separate companies, HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Basic Colors
We've taken a look at the image and pulled out some colors that are common across lots of logos. The colors below aren't the exact colors found in the image, but approximations to common colors.
Advanced Colors
We've extracted the below 'advanced colors' from the logo. These should be much closer to the actual colors found in the logo. Our extractor tries to only take the main colors of the image and tries to ignore shading on anti-aliasing or shadows. This generally leads to better results, but in some circumstances you might find a few unusual colors being pulled from the logo.
Hex Colors
The below are the hex colors that are found in the logo. You can assume that these are the actual colors used in the logo. Our color extraction tool that takes the colors from the logo tries to ignore anti-aliasing and shadows, so you may sometimes find a slightly odd result, but this is rare. These colors should be very similar to the Advanced Colors, but you'll notice subtle differences. If you're interested in the exact color then use the hex, but if you're trying to describe the logo then use the Advanced Color or the Basic Color above.
