About Manchester City FC new Logo
The logo depicted is for Manchester City Football Club. It features a circular badge design with a light blue border containing the text "MANCHESTER CITY" in capital letters, colored in dark blue with white outlining. At the top and bottom of the circular border, there are two pairs of numbers, "18" on the left and "94" on the right, signifying the year the club was founded (1894).
Within the circular border is a shield, divided into three sections. The upper half of the shield has a ship with three masts set against a white background. Below the ship, the shield is horizontally split into two sections. The left lower section contains a golden-yellow stylized rose with green leaves, possibly representing the Lancashire Rose. The right lower section has a white and sky blue striped background, and within this section at the center, is a red flower with a light blue outline, possibly a representation of the cotton flower, which symbolizes the city's history in the textile industry.
The color scheme is predominantly sky blue, white, dark blue, gold, red, and green. The shield and circular border give it a classic and official look associated with traditional football club emblems.

Manchester City FC new Logo Information and History
The football club Manchester City has a new logo coming soon. The old logo had stars and an Eagle and did not accurately reflect the club's history, culture, or major international honors. The fan base demanded a redesign of the logo and the authorities listened. The current logo is meant to be more representative of the club's history and is loosely based on an earlier crest that was unveiled in 1972.
In addition to the name change, the new logo of Manchester City incorporates elements of the city coat of arms. The new logo is an attempt to address copyright issues arising from the logo, but a court has prohibited the club from using the stolen symbols. The designers altered the concept in the 1990s and then went back to the original version in 2000. The club's players first flaunted the official coat of arms of Manchester on their shirts in the 1926 FA Cup final. For many years, rivals such as Manchester United wore their own logos on their uniforms, as did Manchester City. The 1970 design incorporated the city's coat of arms, but the basic elements remained the same.
A second element of the logo is the Latin inscription. The original logo featured an eagle, three gold stars, and the Latin motto, 'Superbia in proelio'. The new ManCity crest is similar to the one of other clubs in the City Football Group. Newcastle, New York City FC, and Melbourne City all have Latin inscriptions on their shields. A third element of the logo is the three stars, which are purely decorative.
Basic Colors
We've taken a look at the image and pulled out some colors that are common across lots of logos. The colors below aren't the exact colors found in the image, but approximations to common colors.
Advanced Colors
We've extracted the below 'advanced colors' from the logo. These should be much closer to the actual colors found in the logo. Our extractor tries to only take the main colors of the image and tries to ignore shading on anti-aliasing or shadows. This generally leads to better results, but in some circumstances you might find a few unusual colors being pulled from the logo.
Hex Colors
The below are the hex colors that are found in the logo. You can assume that these are the actual colors used in the logo. Our color extraction tool that takes the colors from the logo tries to ignore anti-aliasing and shadows, so you may sometimes find a slightly odd result, but this is rare. These colors should be very similar to the Advanced Colors, but you'll notice subtle differences. If you're interested in the exact color then use the hex, but if you're trying to describe the logo then use the Advanced Color or the Basic Color above.
