PSG FC Logo Information and History
The PSG FC logo was designed by Daniel Hechter, a French stylist and patron of the club. It was used from 1982 to 1990. The old logo featured a silhouette of the Parc de Princess stadium. In 1990, the PSG logo was changed to a new one. It features a gold color and is bigger than the previous one. In addition to a newer, more modern version, PSG has a new mascot, Leo.
The logo of Paris Saint-Germain changed several times over the years. It was designed by Daniel Hechter in 1970 and featured a red boat symbolizing Paris, the Eiffel tower and an old school soccer ball. Although the current logo still needs work, the Paris Saint-Germain brand has a long history. This club is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017.
The original PSG FC logo had a black frame and white lettering. The lettering on the banner was white and included the club's name in sans-serif style. The logo underwent several changes between 1971 and 1992. In the early 1980s, the PSG logo consisted of two white hexagons and a blue circle. In 1982, the PSG logo featured a white circle surrounded by red and blue elements. In 1972, the PSG FC logo included the Eiffel Tower. It also featured a lily, a symbol of French power and royalty.
Paris Saint-Germain was founded in 1970 and moved into the legendary Parc des Princes stadium in 1972. They were the first club to compete for domestic trophies. The famous Parc des Princes stadium is still their home. And with all their success, they continue to win international trophies and are making history. With increased financial backing, PSG has enjoyed a resurgence in recent years. In fact, they have won many national and league titles.
Basic Colors
We've taken a look at the image and pulled out some colors that are common across lots of logos. The colors below aren't the exact colors found in the image, but approximations to common colors.
Advanced Colors
We've extracted the below 'advanced colors' from the logo. These should be much closer to the actual colors found in the logo. Our extractor tries to only take the main colors of the image and tries to ignore shading on anti-aliasing or shadows. This generally leads to better results, but in some circumstances you might find a few unusual colors being pulled from the logo.
Hex Colors
The below are the hex colors that are found in the logo. You can assume that these are the actual colors used in the logo. Our color extraction tool that takes the colors from the logo tries to ignore anti-aliasing and shadows, so you may sometimes find a slightly odd result, but this is rare. These colors should be very similar to the Advanced Colors, but you'll notice subtle differences. If you're interested in the exact color then use the hex, but if you're trying to describe the logo then use the Advanced Color or the Basic Color above.
