About Ajax Amsterdam Logo
The logo is circular in shape with a red background. Dominating the center of the circle is a white silhouette of a Greek warrior's profile facing to the left. The warrior appears to be wearing a traditional Corinthian helmet, which is hinted at by the curved lines and the cut-out shapes for the eyes and nose.
Encircling the inner edge of the red circle are the letters "AJAX" in large, bold, white capital letters that take up about the top half of the circle. The word "AJAX" has a stylistic overlap at the junction of "J" and "A," where the leg of the "J" tucks under the "A," and the leg of the "A" in "AJAX" extends to underline the entire word.
Below the warrior's profile, following the same circular contour, is the word "AMSTERDAM" in smaller, white capital letters. This text hugs the bottom of the circle, completing the encircling text.
The overall color scheme is simple and consists of only red and white. The logo has a clean, bold look with a distinct contrast between the two colors.
