About Bandeira Maranhao Logo
The logo in question features a flag-like design with horizontal stripes and a distinct feature on the upper-left side. The background is composed of alternating horizontal stripes that are red, white, and black in color. The top stripe is red, followed by a white stripe, then a black stripe, and this pattern is repeated throughout the flag's field. The upper-left corner, or canton, of the flag features a blue square that extends for less than a quarter of the flag's width and less than half of the flag's height. Within this blue field, there is a prominent white, five-pointed star centered in the middle of the blue square. The star's points reach towards the edges of the blue canton but do not touch the sides. The overall style is emblematic, with a strong color contrast between the stripes and the blue canton with the white star.
