Bandeira Santa Catarina Logo

About Bandeira Santa Catarina Logo

The logo features a central motif encased within a diamond shape that is bordered by a larger, wider diamond. This forms a distinct emblem at the center of a horizontal rectangular background divided into three horizontal stripes: the top and bottom stripes are red, and the middle one is larger and white. At the core of the logo, the emblem has a green background and showcases an intricate crest.

This crest includes a detailed central figure that appears to be an interpretation of a coat of arms or a seal. It is flanked by two branches or sprays of foliage that curve outward and upward from the base. This embellishment frames a central eagle with spread wings standing atop a shield. The shield is decorated with various elements, including what look like mountains and a constellation.

Below the shield and eagle, there is a white scroll with bold black lettering. The text spells out "ESTADO DE SANTA CATARINA," which is Portuguese and translates to "State of Santa Catarina." This text firmly roots the logo as representative of a Brazilian context, particularly the state of Santa Catarina.

In summary, the logo consists of a red-white-red horizontal tri-band flag with a green diamond shape at the center, enclosing a stylized crest featuring an eagle, a shield, and nature-inspired elements, as well as a textual reference to the State of Santa Catarina at the bottom. The green, red, and white color scheme, along with the central emblem, blend traditional symbolism with vibrant colors to represent the identity of the State of Santa Catarina.
