Brasão de Armas - São Sebastião Logo

About Brasão de Armas - São Sebastião Logo

The logo presented is a monochromatic emblem, predominantly in black and white, featuring a shield at its center that is topped with a mural crown. The shield is divided into quadrants: the upper left quadrant displays two crossed keys, the upper right quadrant showcases a sword crossed with a baton, the lower left quadrant includes an anchor with a rope, and the lower right quadrant has three coins. Above these quadrants, within the shield and below the crown, lies a horizontal band with six scallop shells.

Flanking the shield, there are two human figures in period attire. On the left stands a male figure dressed as a sixteenth-century soldier, wearing a morion helmet and carrying what appears to be a halberd—a type of combined spear and battle-ax. On the right is a female figure, also in sixteenth-century clothing, possibly representing nobility or allegorical virtue.

At the base of the shield, there is a scroll bearing the inscription "PAVLISTARVM - VIGILARIVS". Beneath the scroll, a detailed scene depicts an ocean with two ships sailing and a natural coastline in the background. The style of the entire logo is reminiscent of a traditional coat of arms or heraldic crest.
