About Brasão Rio Grande do Norte Logo

The described logo features a central shield that is topped with a white five-pointed star. Below the star and within the shield, there is a seascape with a sailboat on waves, which are varying shades of blue, indicating the water of the sea. The sailboat is white, and above it is a light blue sky. The left half of the shield's green base represents the shore with what appears to be luscious green vegetation.

Two symmetrical palm trees flank the shield, reaching upward. The roots and bottom sections of the trees are encased in golden-yellow scrolls or banners, which then connect below the shield. Underneath the shield and the connected scrolls, a golden-yellow banner contains the text "RIO GRANDE DO NORTE" in capital letters, which are black and very prominent against the light background.

Below this banner is a smaller, green scroll with the text "SECRETARIA DE ESTADO DA EDUCAÇÃO E DA CULTURA" in white, small, uppercase font. The entire emblem is outlined with a fine black line that gives the elements distinction and the appearance of being a coat of arms or official seal, symbolizing a government or institution-affiliated entity, likely pertaining to the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte’s Department of Education and Culture.
