CNPq Logo

About CNPq Logo

The logo presented appears to be a combination of graphic elements and stylized text. On the left side of the logo, there is a distinctive purple icon resembling a stylized human figure with its arms raised upwards, forming an open loop above its head. The figure's right side concludes with a smooth, vertical line that extends down to 'ground' the figure. This icon overlay smoothly transitions into the acronym "CNPq," which is written in bold, uppercase letters.

The colors of the acronym start with a lighter, lavender-like purple for the "C," transitioning through different shades of purples, and concluding with a darker, reddish-purple for the "q." The "q" in "CNPq" features a distinctive design where the tail of the "q" curves upwards, ending with a pointed arrow-like tip, which overall emphasizes a sense of forward motion or advancement.

Beneath the acronym, there is a full spelled-out tagline in Portuguese: "Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico." This text is smaller in size, in a straightforward, sans-serif typeface, and in a darker shade of gray, which contrasts with the colorful acronym above it.

The overall impression of the logo is that it symbolizes human creativity, progression, and scientific achievement, with a color gradient evoking a sense of diversity and dynamism. The tagline clarifies the organization's focus on national development in science and technology.
