About Department of the Air Force Logo
The logo is circular with a navy-blue background. Encircling the edge is a thin gold ring. Around this gold ring, there are white stars evenly distributed. Within the navy-blue area, gold text at the top reads "DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE," and at the bottom, the same gold text reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." Between these two phrases appears the Roman numeral "MCMXLVII," which stands for the year 1947, in gold.
Inside the blue area, there is a central shield-shaped emblem consisting of a light blue upper section and a gold lower section with a thick, dark blue border. An American Bald Eagle is perched on a thunderbolt at the top of the emblem, with its wings spread and colored white and brown. Below the eagle, there are several white five-pointed stars arranged in a circle. The lower gold section of the shield displays a stylized design that resembles a drawing of an atom and aircraft in dark blue lines: the atom lines are vertical, horizontal, and diagonal, intersecting at the center, while the aircraft are depicted as a pair of mirror-image outlines placed horizontally at the center of the shield, intersecting the atom's center point.
Below the shield, there is a pair of gold-colored laurels on either side, extending around the lower half of the central image and meeting at the bottom. The laurel branches are intersected by the previously mentioned gold ring that contains the white stars.

Basic Colors
We've taken a look at the image and pulled out some colors that are common across lots of logos. The colors below aren't the exact colors found in the image, but approximations to common colors.
Advanced Colors
We've extracted the below 'advanced colors' from the logo. These should be much closer to the actual colors found in the logo. Our extractor tries to only take the main colors of the image and tries to ignore shading on anti-aliasing or shadows. This generally leads to better results, but in some circumstances you might find a few unusual colors being pulled from the logo.
Hex Colors
The below are the hex colors that are found in the logo. You can assume that these are the actual colors used in the logo. Our color extraction tool that takes the colors from the logo tries to ignore anti-aliasing and shadows, so you may sometimes find a slightly odd result, but this is rare. These colors should be very similar to the Advanced Colors, but you'll notice subtle differences. If you're interested in the exact color then use the hex, but if you're trying to describe the logo then use the Advanced Color or the Basic Color above.
