About Facultad de Medicina UNAM Logo

The image depicts a circular logo, predominantly in black and white. The central feature of the logo is a stylized rendering of the Rod of Asclepius, which is a serpent entwined around a staff, traditionally a symbol associated with medicine and healthcare. The serpent is depicted in white and is coiled around a staff that is also in white.

Surrounding the Rod of Asclepius, there is a ring that contains text. The top portion of the ring has the acronym "UNAM" in bold, uppercase letters, which stands out prominently against the black background. Below the Rod of Asclepius, the ring includes the Latin phrase "Allis Vivere," which is also in uppercase white letters but in a smaller font size compared to "UNAM."

On either side of the staff, there are two stylized representations of crab pincers or claws that face outward, suggesting a sense of protection or holding. These claws are also in white, matching the color scheme of the logo's main elements.

The overall design is simple yet symbolic, with the use of stark black and white creating a strong contrast that makes the logo visually striking and easily recognizable. The logo effectively communicates its association with the medical field through the use of the Rod of Asclepius and suggests a connection to the latin phrase "Allis Vivere," conveying a message of life or living for others.
