About KOTA PONTIANAK Logo

The logo in question features a central design reminiscent of a shield or crest, surrounded by a wreath of leaves. The shield itself is divided into horizontal sections, with a blue and white striped pattern in the background. Over the stripes, there is a prominent white "K" shape that also resembles a path or intersection. Below the "K" intersection, there is a black horizontal line suggesting a road.

Encircling this central design, there's a border of green leaves that resemble laurel or olive branches, symmetrical on both sides, indicating a sense of honor or achievement. Completing the logo is a curved red banner at the bottom, which houses the numbers "1771" in white text, and above this banner, on the lower part of the shield, the name "KOTA PONTIANAK" is clearly displayed in bold, white, capitalized letters. The red banner further emphasizes this text by providing a strong contrast.

The color palette includes green, red, blue, white, and black, and the elements of the design suggest significance in heritage, possibly reflecting the establishment date of the entity and alluding to elements of civic pride or municipal identity. The presence of "1771" could likely refer to an important date in the history of Kota Pontianak, which may be the city or municipality the logo represents.
