About Kota Yogyakarta

Ornate heraldic-style crest on a black oval field with a gold/yellow ornamental border and scroll ribbons at top and bottom. A rounded shield occupies the center; inside the shield are mirrored white, wing-like stylized shapes flanking a central green panel and a small dark-green, patterned element near the base. Above the shield sits a single five-pointed star.

A tall, vertical obelisk/monument rises from the lower center in front of the shield. The crest is flanked by botanical motifs (leafy branches and grain-like stalks) and finished with a lower ribbon bearing all-caps text "KOTA PRADJA JOGJAKARTA." The design is decorative and symmetrical with strong outlines and flat color areas.
