Norwegian Film Institute Logo

About Norwegian Film Institute Logo

This logo features a minimalistic design primarily in white against a black background. At the center, there are two stylized building shapes that resemble film reels or frames, placed one above the other. The larger building is depicted at the top, while a smaller building is positioned beneath it, slightly offset to the right.

Each building shape has small rectangular windows, adding to the visual detail and emphasizing an architectural element. Above these structures, there are five vertical lines that suggest either light or film strip perforations, enhancing the cinematic theme of the logo.

The text is divided into two horizontal portions. The word "NORWEGIAN" is in bold uppercase letters, prominently displayed above "FILM INSTITUTE." The latter is slightly smaller and also in uppercase letters, positioned beneath "NORWEGIAN." Both text segments are aligned centrally and are colored white, contrasting sharply with the black background, making them stand out clearly.

Overall, the logo conveys a modern and professional aesthetic, reflecting the creative nature of the film industry while also emphasizing the organization’s connection to architecture and storytelling.
