About POLÍCIA CIVIL DE SANTA CATARINA Logo

The logo appears to be in the shape of a traditional shield or badge, with contours resembling a pointed arch at the top and a somewhat square base. The central portion of the shield is filled with a white background, upon which various elements are placed. At the top of the shield, the word "POLÍCIA" is written in bold, capital letters, followed underneath by another bold, capitalized word "CIVIL". Both words are set against the white background and are likely in a black or dark-colored font.

In the middle of the shield, there is a highly detailed emblem featuring a central motif with a rooster atop a pole, surrounded by two rifles crossing each other behind the pole. The rooster and rifles are set against a bright yellow background that might represent the central crest. Surrounding this crest are natural elements, like golden wheat sheaves to the left and likely some other type of plant or laurel to the right, adding symmetry and signifying agricultural abundance or valor.

Beneath the central emblem, a red scroll banner features the state designation "Estado de S.ta. Catarina" in white or light-colored capital letters, indicating the logotypy pertains to the state of Santa Catarina in Brazil.

At the very bottom of the badge, outside the main white area, is a beige or light tan banner that wraps around the bottom contour of the shield, which also contains the word "SC" in very large, bold, and possibly black letters, further reinforcing the state association. These letters appear to be an abbreviation for Santa Catarina.

The entire badge is outlined with a series of borders, some of which are thicker and in a beige or light gold color, giving the logo a three-dimensional effect that mimics metallic badges typically used in police insignia.
