About Policia Militar de Pernambuco Logo

The logo in question features a shield crest design with multiple layers and a predominant color scheme of blue, yellow, red, and green. The outermost shape is a dark blue shield outlined with a thin white border, which itself is outlined with a thicker red border.

Just inside the shield, at the top, is white text reading "POLÍCIA MILITAR" in a semi-circular fashion, following the curve of the shield. The font is bold and uppercase. Below this text is a defined interior shield shape which has a dark blue background.

Central to this inner shield is a large yellow circle outlined in blue. Within the circle, there is a five-pointed yellow star with a smaller red circle at its center. Surrounding the star, between the star's tips, are green shapes that resemble leaves or olive branches, and these shapes follow the curve of the circle. Around the periphery of the yellow circle is a blue band with a repeating pattern of small white dots.

Above the star but within the yellow circle, a red ribbon flows from one side to the other with the colors of the Brazilian flag: green, yellow, and a small blue square with a white star. At the bottom of the yellow circle, there is a small sun with yellow rays emanating from it, set on the blue background of the shield.

Below the central image, the bottom section of the shield features the text "PERNAMBUCO" in bold, uppercase, white letters on a red, semi-circular banner. The red banner itself is outlined in a thin green stripe and a thin yellow stripe beneath. The word is centered and stretches across nearly the entire width of the shield's lower section.

The overall design combines symbolism likely representative of the state of Pernambuco in Brazil and suggests the official capacity of the Polícia Militar, which is a military-style police force in the Brazilian state.
