About Prefeitura de Salvador 2015 Logo

The logo features a combination of text and emblematic imagery. At the top center, there is an emblem resembling a coat of arms or crest in a shade of blue. The crest includes a graphic of what appears to be a fortified structure with a stylized gate or doorway, situated above a pair of laurel branches crossed at their stems. Hovering above the structure within the emblem is a bird with wings outstretched.

Below the emblem, in bold uppercase letters, is the word "SALVADOR" in a large, block-type font, which is the most dominant textual element in the logo. Right beneath "SALVADOR," in a smaller uppercase font and slightly less bold, is the word "PREFEITURA," which is stretched to align with the width of "SALVADOR" above.

Beneath these two words, in a much smaller, italicized font, is the tagline "PRIMEIRA CAPITAL DO BRASIL" indicating a historical or symbolic significance about Salvador's role in Brazil. All the text and the crest emblem are placed against a white background, and the overall color scheme is a simple combination of blue and white.

The logo conveys a sense of officialdom and authority, possibly associated with municipal or city governance, reflective of the "Prefeitura" which translates to "City Hall" or "Municipal Government" in English. The bird and the fortified structure within the crest likely symbolize freedom and defense or protection, which are common themes in civic symbolism.
