About PSV Logo

The logo consists of a triangular, pennant-style shape with a white background. The short side of the pennant (the side attached to a pole) is to the left, and the long, pointed end extends to the right. Around the border of the pennant is a series of alternating red and white vertical stripes, closely resembling the fringe on a classic sports pennant. Inside the pennant, running horizontally across its width, are three perfectly parallel stripes. The top and bottom stripes are red, and the middle stripe, which is slightly thicker, is black. Centered over where the stripes intersect and positioned prominently against the white background is the text “PSV” in large, bold, black font. The three letters are uppercase and take up a significant portion of the space within the pennant. To the left, on the white stripe closest to the pole, is depicted a small, black flagpole, from which the pennant appears to be hanging, giving the impression that the logo is a sports team's flag. The pole bends slightly to the right as if waving in the wind. The logo conveys a sense of tradition and athleticism.
