About RENIEC Logo
The logo consists of two main parts: a graphic on the right and text on the left. The graphic is composed of abstract shapes: Two red vertical figures that resemble silhouette people standing side by side, with the one on the left being slightly larger and appearing in front of the other. Above and between these figures is a circular shape also in red, which symbolizes a head. Together, these shapes could be interpreted as two persons standing close to each other.
To the right of the figures is a vertical rectangle with a wavy pattern resembling a fingerprint, done in shades of grey or silver, which gives a sense of identity and uniqueness.
On the left side of the logo, the text "RENIEC" is prominently displayed in uppercase, bold letters in a dark shade, probably black or dark grey, spanning the height of the entire logo design including the figures. Directly below it in smaller font is the text "REGISTRO NACIONAL DE IDENTIFICACIÓN Y ESTADO CIVIL", which is the full Spanish name of the entity, describing its function as the national registry of identification and civil status. The background of the logo is white, which allows the other colors to stand out prominently.
