Rio de Janeiro Prefeitura Logo

About Rio de Janeiro Prefeitura Logo

The logo is designed using a primarily blue and white color scheme. It features a shield with intricate details. At the center of the shield, there is an emblem that resembles a compass or a steering wheel, hinting at navigation or guidance. The compass-like emblem includes a central design that could be interpreted as a cross or a star, surrounded by a circle and spokes leading outwards.

On both sides of the shield, there is foliage or laurel leaves in white, adding a sense of symmetry and prestige to the logo, as laurel leaves are often associated with victory or honor. At the top of the shield is a crown-like element, signifying authority or a regal quality.

Above the shield, the word "RIO" is prominent in large, bold, capital letters, and right below it, "PREFEITURA" is written in smaller capital letters. Both words are in white, contrasting sharply with the blue background.

Below the shield and the text, there is a slogan or tagline that reads "SEMPRE PRESENTE," which means "always present" in Portuguese. This phrase is in white font on a blue background strip that seems to act as a foundation for the rest of the logo.

The overall design conveys a sense of official authority and presence, suggestive of a governmental or municipal identity.
