About Selangor Logo

The logo consists of a shield as the central element which is divided into four triangles by a bold 'X' that intersects at the center. The top and bottom triangles are red, while the left and right triangles are yellow. At the center of the 'X', there is a circular emblem featuring a stylized, intricate yellow design that includes a pair of crossed traditional weapons, which appear to be krises (Malay daggers).

Surrounding this central emblem are the words "PERSATUAN BOLASEPAK SELANGOR", with "PERSATUAN" at the top of the shield on a red scroll-like banner and "BOLASEPAK SELANGOR" on a similar banner at the bottom of the shield. The words are in capital letters and are white, providing a clear contrast against the red banners.

Below the shield and intersecting with the bottom banner, there is an additional element - two red ribbons extending outward from the shield. These ribbons give the impression of a banner or scroll behind the shield, reinforcing the ceremonial and official quality of the logo.

In the lower center of the shield, right above the bottom banner, there is the date "DITUBUHKAN 1936" in small yellow capital letters, indicating the foundation year of the company or organization.

The colors predominantly featured in the logo are red, yellow, and white, with black outlining the main shapes and letters for definition. Overall, the logo conveys a strong and traditional presence, likely signifying a long history and heritage associated with the Malaysian state of Selangor, as indicated by the name in the logo.
