About Sema, Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente Logo

The logo appears as a four-sectioned circular emblem with stylized natural elements represented in each quarter. Starting from the top left quarter and moving clockwise:

1. The top left section presents a warm orange color and features the image of a sun with an intricate spiral pattern at its center. Below the sun, there are two birds in flight, depicted as simple silhouettes.

2. The top right section is colored in a shade of olive green and contains a yellow five-pointed star near its upper edge. Below the star stands a stylized green tree with a broad canopy and a slightly curved trunk, representing vegetation or forestry.

3. The bottom right quarter features a sky-blue background. Its primary design is a pair of white waves that invoke the idea of water, beneath which there is a white silhouette of a fish, indicating marine or aquatic life.

4. The bottom left segment is a deeper blue, perhaps signifying the ocean or a large body of water. A stylized white fish appears prominently in this section, swimming above three white, wavy lines that suggest water movement or a river.

The emblem is bounded by a thin, white circular outline, ensuring the shape and contents form a cohesive badge. The different colors and symbols used encapsulate various aspects of the environment—sun representing energy or climate, birds for air, the tree for land and forests, the star possibly indicating guidance or a higher goal, and the fish with waves referring to aquatic life and water resources. This combination of elements suggests the logo's focus on environmental matters.
