About St John Ambulance Logo

The logo is composed of a circular emblem with a white background. Surrounding the perimeter of the circle is a thick black border that contains the text "ST. JOHN AMBULANCE" in capital letters. The text is arched along the top portion of the circle.

At the center of the logo is a large, eight-pointed star. Each point of the star is made up of four straight lines, giving the star a somewhat elongated and sharp appearance. Inside this eight-pointed star are four additional, smaller stylized creatures that appear to be lions or mythical beasts, positioned in a way that each one is facing the center from a different direction (north, south, east, west). These creatures are shown in a darker color, probably black, which provides a high-contrast effect against the white star and background.

Below the main star symbol, in the lower portion of the circle and just above the lower edge of the black border, there is a smaller icon that looks like a simplistic, geometric representation of an eight-pointed star or cross, known as a Maltese cross.

Overall, the logo has a professional and official appearance, with its monochromatic color scheme likely conveying a sense of authority and reliability, traits associated with medical and emergency services.
