About Twitch 2019 Logo
The logo presented is a wordmark that spells out "twitch" in a bold, modern sans-serif typeface. Each letter is capitalized and designed with sharp, clean lines that convey a sense of digital precision and modernity. The color of the text is a vibrant shade of purple, which is often associated with the Twitch brand. The purple hue is consistent throughout the entire word, with no color gradients.
There are stylistic notches cut out of certain letters that give the wordmark its distinctive character. Notably, the "t" features a horizontal line that is missing a small section on the right side, creating a visual gap. The "w" has a similar cut, with the absence of a section on the bottom left side. Lastly, the "h" also sports this design feature, with a small section missing from the top right of its vertical stem.
The background is transparent, which means the logo can be placed over different colored backgrounds without a conflicting backdrop color. Also, there are no additional symbols, emblems, or graphics accompanying the text in this logo iteration. The overall design is sleek, with a focus on the brand name which makes it easily recognizable, particularly to those familiar with the digital and streaming industry.
