About UASLP Logo

The logo in question appears to be the emblem of an academic institution. It is a detailed crest or coat of arms rendered in a monochromatic blue shade. At the top of the crest, there is a figure resembling a lion or a mythical creature standing on its hind legs.

The center of the emblem features a shield adorned with intricate designs and text. There are two main sections within the shield, divided by a horizontal line. The upper section displays a series of vertical stripes, and the bottom section has what might be symbolic representations or patterns. Superimposed over the shield and sections is additional text, possibly including dates and Latin phrases commonly associated with educational institutions.

Surrounding the shield is a motto or slogan on a ribbon-like banner at the bottom of the design reading “SIEMPRE AUTONOMA” on the left, "POR MI PATRIA" on the right, and another phrase inscribed at the top of the shield, though it is difficult to read due to the intricate nature of the surrounding designs.

Additional text flanking the shield on both the left and right sides seems to denote the full name of the institution or parts of its mission or values.

The overall style is formal and traditional, suggesting a storied history and a commitment to scholarly values. This type of emblem is commonly used by universities or higher education institutions to convey heritage and authority in the field of academics.
