About UAT Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas Logo

The logo consists of a circular emblem with a dark, likely navy blue, background. Encircling the edge of the emblem is text in a lighter shade of blue or white that stands out against the background. The upper segment of text reads "UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA" while the lower segment completes the name with "DE TAMAULIPAS." Between these two phrases, small dots or stars are evenly spaced, separating the words at the top and bottom of the circle.

Inside the circle, two notable figures are depicted symmetrically mirroring each other, and they overlap at the center where they are connected to a common base. Each figure is designed with a mixture of straight and waved lines, creating a sense of motion or flow. On the left, the figure resembles an abstract representation of an atom or molecule, with orbiting electrons, indicative of a science or education theme. The figure on the right looks like a torch, a common symbol of knowledge and enlightenment.

These two central figures are mounted on a partial diamond-shaped base or pedestal that sits at the bottom of the circle's interior, serving as a foundation for the imagery above.

The entire design is interlinked symbolically, representing unity and the fusion of different disciplines, likely reflecting the diverse academic offerings and the enlightenment purpose of the institution. The colors chosen are traditional and sober, typical for an academic institution.
