About ufcg universidade federal de campina grande Logo

The logo features a shield shape with a two-tone color scheme: the upper portion is navy blue and the lower section is a lighter shade of blue. At the top of the shield, in the navy blue field, the acronym "UFCG" is prominently displayed in capitalized, white, sans-serif font. Below this acronym, the lighter blue field contains a stylized white sun design with rays extending upwards towards the acronym. The sun design is centered and appears to be rising or setting at the horizon line where the two blue tones meet. Encircling the shield is a navy blue banner, which mimics the contour of the shield at its base. On this banner, the Latin phrase "SUPRA OMNES LUX LUCES" is inscribed in white capital letters in a serif font. The phrase is arched along the banner, following its shape. The overall design conveys a sense of academia and tradition, consistent with the branding of a higher education institution. The logo uses a simple color palette and clear imagery that likely represents concepts of enlightenment and knowledge, indicated by the presence of the sun and the Latin motto.
