About Union Royale Belge des Sociétés de Football Logo

The logo in question features a shield crest with a black background. Around the shield is a yellow outline that resembles the shape of flames or a flower with rounded petals, giving the crest a distinguished appearance. Centered within the shield is a vertical split: on the left side is a red field, and on the right is a yellow one.

Overlaid on the shield are three elements. First, there is a ribbon-like banner at the top of the shield in black with a crown above it. This indicates a connection to royalty or national significance. Second, there is a set of gold or yellow laurel leaves on either side of the shield, adding to the emblematic and regal nature of the logo. The laurels curve towards the bottom, as if to cradle the shield, and where they meet at the bottom, they are tied together.

On the shield itself, there are initials in bold, capital letters: "U", "R", "B", "S", "F", "A", and "K", "B", "V", "B". These letters are arranged in three distinct lines to fit the shape of the shield. The top row contains "URBSFA," the middle line "KBVB," and the bottom row features the year "1895," implying the founding or establishment date of the organization. All the text on the shield is in white, providing a stark contrast to the black and creating a strong visual impact.

The combination of royal imagery, such as the crown and laurel leaves, with the bold lettering and the year, suggests this is the emblem of a longstanding, authoritative body related to football (soccer) in Belgium, reflecting a tradition and a national level of recognition.
