About Yargıtay Logo

The logo in the image is circular in shape with a prominent red inner circle. Encircling this red area is a thick green band that contains the word "YARGITAY" in large, white, uppercase letters. Above the word "YARGITAY," centrally located at the top of the green band, is a white crescent moon flanking a white five-pointed star.

Inside the red circle, there is a central motif featuring a pair of golden yellow scales representing justice, with a symmetrical balance. Below the scales, there is a date in golden yellow numbers indicating "1868". These elements are set against the red background, which stands out vividly against the green outer band.

The bottom of the red inner circle touches a pair of symmetrically branching golden yellow laurel wreaths depicted in the lower part of the green band. The laurel wreaths meet at the bottom center and appear to stem from the lower part of the red circle. The wreaths extend upwards towards the sides, following the curvature of the logo's outer edge, before ending just past the midpoint of the green band on each side. The overall design conveys a sense of officialdom and authority, commonly associated with judicial or governmental institutions.
