About California Highway Patrol Logo

The logo in the image is a shield emblem featuring a mix of geometric shapes and imagery. The background shape is a deep blue, seven-pointed badge or crest. Over this badge, centered and prominently displayed, is a golden seven-pointed star with a detailed interior scene.

Each point of the star has a thin black border and a small circle at the tip, mimicking a classic sheriff's badge. Inside the star is a full-color illustration. The central scene depicts elements symbolic of California: a body of water with a sailboat, rolling hills, and a mountain background beneath a light blue sky. On the right side, a brown bear is shown walking on grass. On the left side, a figure resembling Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom, stands holding a spear with a bear resting at her feet, next to a green bush. Over her head are the words "EUREKA" in a red banner, which is the state motto of California.

The outermost edge of the star contains a black border with the text "CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL" arched across the top. The text is bold and in block capitals, colored in a golden yellow that matches the star. The overall color scheme of the logo is primarily blue, gold, and green with accents of red, symbolizing authority and tradition associated with the California Highway Patrol agency.
